In 2006, Anne set up from home, taking a stall at the launch of Bandon Farmer’s market. This is where we saw the opportunity to sell our products and it acted as a market research exercise; enabling us to gain an insight into what people were looking for when purchasing food. It also helped to create our brand; providing good quality food with nothing added but fresh local ingredients.

Anne is a fully qualified chef who worked in the food industry in various roles for over 15 years. ‘Taste a Memory is all about recreating the food memories of my childhood - coming in from school on a cold day to a warm kitchen, and my mother putting a hearty wholesome pie on the table for dinner’ – Anne Bradfield

From our humble beginning in a Farmers market in Cork we have year on year grown our operation. We are now available in over 30 shops around Cork and very soon plan to be available in stores all over the country.

We have won many awards for our products as well as a lot of recognition for the quality of our produce from food critics in many magazines and newspapers. In 2009 we won Gold and Silver in the inaugural Blas na hEireann Food Awards. These awards were for our Lamb & Feta Cheese Pasty and our Traditional Beef pasty respectively.
